     JJ said that “ It is a huge  privilege to  part of the PNA UK Core committee , it is exciting  to have the opportunity to influence and support our Philippine Nurses in the United Kingdom  and to help deliver  the objectives and   PNA UK’s  Long Term Plans.  In doing so, I know that I will draw upon my experience as a leader and from my own personal values”

     JJ is a  Florence Nightingale Windrush Leadership Scholar  and have worked for the NHS for 20 years He  spear headed the Nurse  Led  the Preoperative Assessment Unit of Chelsea and Westminster Healthcare NHS Fdn Trust for years , in fact  he was recently presented   with  An excellence Award  for his exceptional  contribution to the organization.

     JJ is a “Freedom To Speak Up and Mary Seacole Trust Champion promoting diversity and inclusion where he is very vocal of his passion for it.

​

    He just joined the private sector, in  a hospital that was rank “One of the best in the world” in the Heart of London which will open in 2022. JJ will support and help the Clevelend Clinic London setting up their Preoperative Assessment Clinic.  He described   sadness leaving the NHS, but emphasized that he was given great opportunity and challenge that he   cannot afford not to accept.
