London, United Kingdom. The Philippine Nurses Association of United Kingdom (PNA UK) would like to congratulate and commend the 6, 086 board passers who took the National Licensure Examinations (NLE) for Nurses last November 2021. The November NLE had a 51.8% passing rate from a total of 11,828 exam takers who took the 2-days exam at various parts of the country.
The Professional Regulations Commission (PRC) conducted the NLE under the guidance of the Board of Nursing (BON) Chairman Elsie Tee and its board members.
The NLE is the culmination of the rigorous 4-years of nursing study and is a requirement before a nursing degree holder can practice nursing. The NLE Exam coverage includes, Community Health Nursing, Care or Healthy/ At Risk Mother and Child, Care of Clients with Physiologic and Psychosocial Alternations – 3-parts.
Passing the PRC BON Licensure Examination recognizes the individual as a Registered Nurse and is often required by employers to ascertain the basic level of nursing knowledge of the individual.
PNA UK would like to welcome our new nursing colleagues into the profession and are eager to work with you in the future. The Association will always be around to assist, guide and support you in your career and professional development should you choose to practice in the United Kingdom.
